Interbrand, an international consultancy firm, announced its first-ever “Best Global Green Brands,” a list of top green companies, and Toyota was recognized as the world’s greenest brand, ranking ahead of juggernauts like 3M and Siemens.
According to Interbrand, Toyota secured the top spot due to both public perception of the brand’s environmental sustainability, as well as its environmental performance based on public records.
Undoubtedly, the influence of the most fuel-efficient mid-size car in America – the 2011 Toyota Prius – played a significant role in the Toyota ranking. With a focus on green vehicles, Toyota will be rolling out highly anticipated vehicles like the 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-In and the 2012 Toyota RAV4 EV this year.

Many thanks to all who stopped by our booth at the Summer Camp Expo at Augusta Preparatory Day School in April. We enjoyed being a part of a day of learning, information sharing and promoting area summer camps and recreational programs.
The mission of this Expo was to showcase summer programs in one location in order to highlight a wide variety of options that will educate, entertain and stimulate children during the summer months. There was food, fun, entertainment, exhibitions and door prizes- one of which was a summer camp scholarship awarded by Milton Ruben!
Expo attendees had the opportunity to win a variety of door prizes by completing the Expo Passport provided at entry and obtaining a “check” from each Expo Exhibitor. Once completed this card was submitted at the designated location by 2:30pm for drawing to be held and winners announced at 2:45 -3:00 pm.
It was a great family day!
