Santa came to Milton Ruben Toyota Scion on December 15th from 9am-1pm, and the turnout was great! Folks brought their children for a complimentary portrait with Santa Claus from Michael O’Byrne Photography, and spread the holiday spirit by decorating Christmas cards for senior citizens.
Visiting senior citizens is a great way to not only help your community, but to get away from the hustle and bustle of your busy Christmas season. You can relax, do a few fun activities such as making cards or ornaments with the seniors or before you go. To make it less awkward for children to talk to adults, make sure you prompt your younger children beforehand with conversation starters such as What was your favorite thing to do as a child? What is your favorite type of cookie? What is your favorite activity?

2013 Avalon
Car and Driver, when asked about the Toyota Avalon, said, “In the past, we’ve characterized this biggest of all Toyota passenger cars as more Buick than Buick. It was a tribute—if you can call it that—to the Avalon’s quiet, competent operation, anonymous styling, and generally unobtrusive character.”
The Avalon has been redesigned inside and out for 2013. Toyota has gone with a much sleeker look by changing the angles of the windows, shortening the overhangs on front and rear, and lowered the beltline. The weight has been taken down almost 120 pounds, despite the more expensive use of spot welding and increased high-strength steel in the frame. The Avalon boasts a 3.5L V6 with 268hp. The Hybrid has a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with ECO and Sport modes.
Inside the car, leather seats are standard and the cabin is very spacious. From the instrument panel to the multiple touchscreen displays, luxury was in mind throughout the redesign of this Avalon. There is an upgraded JBL audio system and ambient lighting to boot. Safety features include a new “variable-ratio brake pedal” that varies initial and final pedal effort, 10 airbags, stability and traction control, pre-collision mitigation, and blind-spot monitor.

2013 Toyota Highlander
Today, our Milton Ruben Toyota saleswoman, Kim Varner, does a walkaround of the 2013 Toyota Highlander. She will show you many of the features this competant, well valued sport utility vehicle comes equipped with.
The Highlander comes with a choice of a 4- or 6-cylinder engine, intermittent wipers on the front and back, and 17- or 19 inch alloy wheels, depending on which model you choose.
