Who says a car dealership can’t be romantic? Ok, so we’re not really known for being a romantic place but… a wedding proposal changes everything!
Judy was suppose to be off yesterday, but came in for an individual customer. When she arrived there was a bouquet of roses with the sender being “Will”. Not knowing who Will was, we all scrambled to figure out who the bouquet was from! After a moment, the brilliant idea of calling Martina’s Flowers and Gifts came to mind. Judy called Martina’s and found out that it was her boyfriend who sent the bouquet. She thought he was playing a joke. That is, until the other bouquets arrived!
The messages in order read “Will, You, Marry, Me?”
All we saw was a tall man in a suit approach Judy. He then takes a bended knee and proposes (sorry no photo here)! We all waited for the yes, but we couldn’t hear her! So we waited and saw the kiss between them and we clapped! How romantic!
After it’s all done and said, we just want to wish Judy and her new fiance, Lance, a big CONGRATULATIONS! Who knows, maybe they’ll have the ceremony in the showroom!

Milton Ruben Toyota wants to thank everyone who came out to help the community. As you may know, we partnered with A. Brian Merry Elementary School to collect donations.
Many of the students come from families who struggle to make ends meet and just aren’t able to purchase new school supplies. This is where Milton Ruben Toyota stepped in and set up donation drop boxes. From crayons to paper, we got a variety of everything!

School Supply Drive at Milton Ruben Toyota
Milton Ruben Toyota (in conjunction with Milton Ruben Superstore) is holding a school supply drive for A. Brian Merry Elementary School! This school is a Title 1 school, meaning that a majority of the students come from families under the poverty line. Many of these families struggle to afford the basic school supplies their children need.
This is where Milton Ruben Toyota steps in. Not only is our staff helping out by bringing in donations, we’re reaching out into the community and asking for your help! We’re asking everyone to bring in supplies until August 7th. All supplies brought in will be distributed at the school’s “Back to School Bash” on August 10!
Some of the suggested donation items: crayons, #2 pencils, composition books, glue sticks, markers, wide ruled paper, rulers, folders, eraser, hand sanitizers, tissues and anything else you think a student would need.
All donated items can be dropped off at Milton Ruben Toyota.

Milton Ruben Toyota wants to remind you that Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good (2013) has begun!
Yesterday started the application process for 100 Cars for Good. It will last until August 5th (with only 2500 applications being accepted)!
October 1st marks when voting begins on Toyota’s Facebook page! Each day consumers will get 2 votes each to select 2 separate winning organizations. The two daily winners will be eligible to choose a Highlander, Prius, Sienna, Sienna Mobility or Tundra, which will also come with a six-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty from Toyota Financial Services. The remaining three runners-up every day will earn a grant of $1,000 from Toyota to recognize their efforts and encourage further good work.
So let your local nonprofit organizations know about this wonderful opportunity!

Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good
Milton Ruben Toyota was a part of the 2011 Toyota 100 Cars for Good and we’d love to be a part of it again in 2013 too!

The third annual Toyota 100 Cars For Good program continues to impact nonprofits’ Work. Registered Charities Can Apply Online Beginning July 22
Since 2011, 100 Cars for Good has put 200 cars on the road to benefit organizations and causes that touch real lives – from transporting disabled adults and taking zoo animals to schools, to restoring homes flooded by Superstorm Sandy.
Key dates and facts for the 2013 program:
- July 22 to Aug. 5 – Up to 2,500 applications will be accepted.
- Aug. 19 – The 250 finalists will be announced and will receive promotional materials to help raise awareness for their organizations during the voting period and in their work beyond.
- Oct. 1 – Voting will begin and continue for 50 consecutive days on Toyota’s Facebook page, granting consumers two votes each day to select two separate winning organizations.
Each day, the two winners will be eligible to choose a Highlander, Prius, Sienna, Sienna Mobility or Tundra, which will also come with a six-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty from Toyota Financial Services. The remaining three runners-up every day will earn a grant of $1,000 from Toyota to recognize their efforts and encourage further good work.
