The FJ Cruiser: Retro Style with Modern Flair
The Toyota FJ Cruiser is a retro-style SUV introduced as a concept car at the 2003 Chicago Auto Show. Based on the Land Cruiser Prado platform, its styling is reminiscent of the original Toyota FJ40 Land Cruisers from the 1960s, particularly the front fascia, white roof and wrap around rear windows.
The FJ Cruiser was not originally intended for production but due to enormous consumer response following the North American International Auto Show, production eventually began in early 2006 with the 2007 model.

The featured apps of Toyota Entune include: Bing, iheartradio, MovieTickets.com, OpenTable.com, and Pandora, as well as location-based services, such as personalized traffic, fuel prices, stocks, weather, and sports. Toyota Entune also includes support for read-back and replay capabilities for text messages. These are combined with a fully featured entertainment and communication system, which includes XM radio, HD Radio, CD player, USB connectivity, Bluetooth streaming and phonebook. A high quality JBL sound system is available as an option as well.

These three artists use auto parts to create amazing works of art
Born in 1962 near Johannesburg, South Africa, Alastair Gibson bills his work as “Automotive Inspired Sculpture.” Drawing similarities between modern Grand Prix cars and game fish, Alastair uses various auto parts to create his amazing works, including polyurethane foam from driver’s seats, floor stays, exhaust tailpipes, bodywork fixings, radiators and gearboxes.
The next time you’re in an auto part store, you’ll be looking at auto parts and accessories in a new light, especially after seeing the works of Nemo Gould. This American artist and sculptor is known widely for his kinetic “found-object” sculptures, as well as two-dimensional works. Much of his work presents whimsical aluminum and wooden robotic and sci-fi creatures, and he regularly employs used auto parts, scavenging everything old and cast off, from engine parts and mounts, to brake pads and shoes, and even gasket sets and car mirrors.

Australian sculptor James Corbett discovered his talent for creating his amazing pieces of art while running an auto recycling business in Brisbane . He likes to incorporate old and interesting car parts into his sculptures. Nothing is bent into shape, and the original integrity of each car part is maintained. “The parts themselves are often interesting. Some are as much as eighty years old,” says James.
